Gavin Scott
Gavin Scott began practicing Family Law in 2001 and qualified in 2003. Having graduated in Law at Glamorgan University in Wales, he obtained his Legal Practice Diploma at Leeds University.
Gavin joined Stowe Family Law in 2007 and quickly became an integral part of the Cheshire office in Hale. Gavin qualified as a mediator in 2010 is now managing partner of the firm's London office.
With a thorough knowledge of all aspects of family law, Gavin has become widely known for his direct and proactive approach to resolving cases. He is a specialist in complex and high asset financial matters, in particular involving businesses, trusts and overseas assets. With attention to detail in financial disclosure, there have been a number of matters in which Gavin has uncovered hidden and undisclosed assets.
Notably, Gavin has been involved in a number of matters dealing with worldwide freezing injunctions and obtaining reciprocal freezing orders abroad. He also deals with a number of children cases including those concerning shared residence, removal from the jurisdiction and financial provision for a child.
Gavin’s client base spans across the UK and abroad, with recent clients from Europe, Asia and Australia.
