The son of film star Nicholas Cage has completed his divorce.
Weston Coppola Cage married South African singer Nikki Williams in April 2011 after an engagement lasting just two weeks. But Weston, 22, filed for divorce the following October, after both he and his wife had been charged with domestic violence. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Weston, who sings in a heavy metal band called Eyes of Noctum, keeps his bank account, musical equipment and song catalogue in the couple’s settlement.
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that 24 year-old Williams will keep her wedding ring, along with the rights to her songs. These include one reportedly written about the split, called Pawn My Wedding Ring.
Nicholas Cage is the nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola.
