Stowe Family Law in Leeds
Often in Leeds is the firm’s Senior Partner Julian Hawkhead. He is also one of the firm’s founding partners and a Resolution accredited expert on complex financial and property matters (often with a corporate or trust element) as well as international family law.
The Leeds office is led by Managing Partner Rachel Roberts, who specialises in the financial aspects of a marriage breakdown, and in particular those involving significant and complex assets such as businesses and pensions.
Working alongside Rachel is partner Angela Sussens who has extensive experience of complex financial disputes, including financial settlements on divorce, trusts, companies, offshore assets and foreign jurisdictions.
Together they lead a strong team of experienced family lawyers.
Our mission for each office is to be the best in the area and to deliver one to one client care via a specialist family lawyer, supported with a depth of knowledge by our ever-growing national presence.
“I do not plan to get divorced ever again but if I do, I would call Stowe Family Law First. The solicitor assigned to my case was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. By the time we went to court my case was well prepared. I was guided through the process with great patience by experts who know what they are doing.”

“I was passed on to Rachel Roberts who I cannot praise more. She was very sympathetic towards my case and at times when I felt like giving up, she was always at the end of the phone to reassure me. I would recommend her highly. Especially for female clients.”

“I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for myself and my children. You have gone beyond what I could ever have hoped for and you have changed our lives dramatically.”
