New family law office in Bishop’s Stortford

Stowe Family Law (Stowe) – the UK’s largest specialist family law firm – has opened a new family law office in Bishop’s Stortford to support an increase in the number and complexity of new enquiries the firm is seeing due to Covid-19.

Since the global pandemic struck last year, enquiries into the firm’s Chelmsford office have risen by 77%* year on year. The new Bishop’s Stortford office will help clients access some of the country’s top family lawyers locally.

In Bishop’s Stortford, the team is headed up by Managing Partner Sebastian Burrows, supported by Senior Solicitor Lucy Birch and Solicitor Emel Hamit, who cover family law matters including divorce and separation; arrangements for children and resolving financial matters.

About the office opening, Managing Partner Sebastian Burrows commented:

“As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic continues, we have seen a sharp rise in enquiries, particularly in the Essex area. Joining our office in Chelmsford, our presence in Bishop’s Stortford allows us to maintain the highest support levels for our clients throughout the pandemic and beyond.

At Stowe, we pride ourselves on offering compassionate advice and solutions during these difficult times. Through our combined years of experience in family law and knowledge, we can offer people who live locally and across Essex access to an unrivalled nationwide network of knowledge and experience on their doorstep.”

Bishop’s Stortford is Stowe’s 37th office and its 15th in the southern region as the firm continues to grow nationwide.
