Harry White

Training and experience

Harry graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 having completed his law degree. He then undertook the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York in 2010.

Harry gained experience across a number of areas of law during his work as a paralegal before qualifying as a solicitor in August 2017 specialising in family law. Harry has worked at a number of highly regarded Family Law practices and joined Stowe Family Law’s Birmingham office in October 2023.

Specialisms 

Harry specialises in a range of private family law matters including complex divorce and financial proceedings, child arrangements orders, prohibited steps and specific issue orders, internal/external relocation, cohabitation disputes, pre/post nuptial agreements and Separation Agreements.

Harry has extensive experience acting for mid and high net worth individuals (involving trust structures, businesses, international assets, and non-disclosure issues).

Harry also has significant experience representing parents involved in complex private children law matters (involving domestic abuse, findings of fact, Guardians, parental alienation, high conflict and intractable disputes).

Approach

Harry adopts a meticulous approach to every client he works with, and provides clear and pragmatic advice to assist in progressing their matter. Harry aims to assist his clients in resolving matters outside of Court but will robustly represent his clients within Court proceedings should it be required. Harry has experience with supporting clients through alternative dispute resolution forums such as arbitration, private FDRs and mediation. Clients often note Harry’s ability to support them through what is a very stressful and difficult point in their lives.

Outside of Work

Outside of work Harry enjoys spending time with his family. When the opportunity presents itself, Harry enjoys outdoor go-karting and is competing in his first novice season with karting league Club100.
