Our divorce lawyers in Kingston guide and support their clients through the divorce and civil partnership dissolution process. Senior Associate Martha Holland is one of the team, drawing on her experience across divorce and financial disputes to help you every step of the way.
There’s more than one way to bring a marriage to a close, and we’ll talk you through the options that suit your circumstances. That could be a fixed-fee, no-fault divorce, or, for couples with substantial assets, businesses or wealth to untangle, a high net worth divorce. And if going to court isn’t for you, mediation, collaborative law and arbitration offer a calmer way to reach an agreement.

Senior Associate Laura Williams is a children’s law specialist, negotiating arrangements for children, contact issues and other disputes while keeping their welfare front and centre.
We also advise on child arrangement orders, parental responsibility, and special guardianship and child maintenance where they’re needed. And when a family is affected by relocation or international children matters, or grandparents are looking to stay connected with their grandchildren, we’re here to help with that too.
Whether you need a prenuptial agreement or postnuptial contract, our solicitors are here to help. Senior Associate Zanariah Webster is one of our prenuptial agreement specialists, and will help you protect what matters most.
These agreements aren’t only for married couples — if you’re living together without tying the knot, a cohabitation agreement offers similar peace of mind. And should you and your partner decide to separate informally, we can draw up a separation agreement to record how you’ll divide everything fairly.
Prenuptial agreement solicitors
Nhu Vo specialises in financial remedy proceedings, having successfully represented countless clients.
We’ll help you reach a financial settlement that’s fair to both sides, make sure pensions are valued and shared properly, and step in to protect or divide business assets where a family company is involved. If you and your partner were never married, TOLATA property disputes and spousal maintenance are both areas we can help resolve too.
Financial settlement solicitors
Did you know that couples who live together – but aren’t married – have minimal rights? A cohabitation agreement from our Kingston lawyers can change that. Associate Rebecca Bridson has particular experience with cohabitee disputes, so you’re in safe hands with us.
Disagree over who owns what in a shared home? A TOLATA claim can resolve that. And if you do separate, we can help you untangle joint finances and living arrangements, or put a parenting agreement in writing if children are part of the picture.
Cohabitation lawyers
Our domestic abuse solicitors will support and guide you through your case, so you never have to face it alone. Solicitor Isabella Gill has particular experience protecting people facing domestic abuse, including securing injunctive relief.
We can help you apply for a non-molestation order or an occupation order, and we’re just as ready to support you through emotional or financial abuse as we are physical abuse. If forced marriage protection is what’s needed, for you or someone close to you, we can put that in place too.
If you need urgent help because of domestic abuse, tell the Kingston team at the start of your enquiry. If it is safe to speak by phone, call 020 848 16516 and explain that you are seeking urgent legal protection and we will advise on urgent family-court protection. Where children may be at immediate risk, the team can also advise on urgent children applications where appropriate.
