More from our Kingston divorce solicitors

More from our Kingston divorce solicitors

  • How much does divorce costs?

Divorce costs are determined by the complexity of each case, particularly where finances, property disputes, or arrangements for children must be agreed. Following a discussion about your circumstances, your solicitor can provide an initial indication of costs. Further details can be found in our divorce costs and family law fees information. A fixed-fee divorce option is available for straightforward matters.

  • Do you handle cases at Kingston Family Court?

Yes. Most cases are resolved out of court, but if a hearing is required you will attend Kingston upon Thames County Court and Family Court on St James Road (KT1 2ND). Our solicitors will ensure you are fully prepared and supported throughout the process.

  • Where is Kingston Family Court and how do I get there?

Kingston upon Thames County Court and Family Court is located on St James Road, close to Kingston Guildhall, the River Thames and Kingston town centre. It is around a 10-minute walk from Kingston Station via Wood Street towards the riverside and St James Road

From our Kingston office at 25 Union Street (KT1 1RP), the court is within walking distance via the High Street towards St James Road. Nearby cafés include Starbucks on Clarence Street, Pret A Manger on Eden Street and independent favourite Local Hero on Richmond Road if you arrive early.

If driving, parking is available at The Bentall Centre and Eden Walk car parks, both within walking distance of the court.
