Def Leppard guitarist files for divorce

Vivian Campbell, guitarist with the British rock band Def Leppard, has filed for divorce from his wife of 25 years.
The musician, originally from County Antrim in Northern Ireland, cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ at the Los Angeles County Superior Court. He has requested, according to a report on celebrity site TMZ, joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, aged 11 and 13.. He is also reported to have asked the court to rule out alimony (‘spousal support’) for his wife Julie, whom he married in 1987.
Campbell joined the highly successful rock band in 1992, when the marriage was already five years old, following the death of previous guitarist Steve Clark.
