Actor Peter Facinelli recently described life with his daughters following divorce.

Peter FacinelliThe 39 year-old is best known for his roles in sitcom Nurse Jackie and the Twilight film series. He married fellow actor Jennie Garth in 2001 and the couple had three daughters – Luca, now 15, ten year-old Lola, and Fiona, 6. But after 11 years together, the couple split in March last year and Facinelli filed for divorce shortly afterwards.

Now the pair share parenting of their daughters. Facinelli recently told the Huffington Post:

“Co-parenting has been great. I’m able to have the kids every other week and in some ways — a lot of ways — it makes me an even better father. I get to get up and make them breakfast, make them lunches, take them to school and I have the full responsibility of all three girls for the whole entire week, and I bond a lot with them that way.”

According to reports, Facinelli is now involved in a relationship with actress Jaimie Alexander, who appeared in season 3 of Nurse Jackie.
