Aa’ishah is an accredited solicitor and has obtained her Law Society Family Panel membership in November 2022. She supports clients within the following specialism in family law such as: domestic abuse, complex children act proceedings which also include the appointment of a guardian under Rule 16.4 and allegations of parental alienation, non-molestation proceedings, occupation proceedings, transfer of tenancy, financial and divorce proceedings.
Approach
Aa’ishah is a very caring and empathetic solicitor who makes sure her clients can get the best outcome that they seek to desire. Aa’ishah’s focus is to ensure that parties negotiate in any matter’s before proceeding to a final hearing.
Training and experience
Aa’ishah studied Law at Birmingham City University and completed her Professional Legal Practice Course at the University of West London. She qualified within a high street law firm and was admitted to the roll in 2020. Aa’ishah has specialised in family law since this date and has gained a wide range of experience in different areas of family law. Before joining Stowe, Aa’ishah worked for a regional firm and spent majority of her time working between London and Birmingham.
During her time at the firm Aa’ishah conducted her own advocacy from the start to the finish of these proceedings which included fact finding hearings and final hearings for family and children act cases.
She was also a supervising solicitor at her previous law firm and has helped develop many legal assistants, paralegals and trainee solicitors throughout her time. Aa’ishah takes great pride in training junior staff to ensure they become recognised in the legal field and achieve their end goal of qualifying as a solicitor.
Before Aa’ishah embarked on her legal career in the UK she had the opportunity to work on death row cases in America which was in partnership with Amicus.
Aa’ishah joined the Stowe’s Oxford office in August 2024.
