Anya Gold

Training & experience 

Having grown up in Glasgow, Anya initially made the move down south to study Law at Leeds University. She remained in the north-west to complete her training at a leading national firm and commenced practicing family law immediately upon her qualification in 2009.

Anya joined the specialist family law practice Crisp & Co in 2013, where she stayed for five years before acquiring substantial experience in heavy-weight divorce and finance matters in the City. Following her maternity leave in 2021, Anya returned to Crisp and Co and is now pleased to be a part of Stowe Family Laws’ London office.

Specialisms

Anya specialises in assisting families with divorce proceedings, financial settlements, and arrangements concerning children. Additionally, she handles cohabitation disputes, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Anya is renowned for her empathy, personal rapport, and dedication to securing the best possible outcome for her clients during what can be an emotionally challenging period.

Accreditations, memberships & awards

Anya was recognised as a rising star on the annual Super Lawyers list in 2015. Described in the recent 2023 edition of the Legal 500 as “Anya Gold is a rising star,” she is praised for her understated yet clever and persistent approach in achieving successful outcomes for her clients.

Anya is a staunch advocate of Resolution and its non-confrontational, conciliatory approach to resolving matters. She co-founded the Young Resolution group in Merseyside and later served as the treasurer of Yres Surrey.

Outside of work

Balancing the demands of caring for two small children leaves little spare time, but whenever possible, Anya enjoys indulging in her passions. She has a deep love for the theatre, with a particular fondness for musicals.

Anya also relishes long walks outdoors and finds solace in losing herself in the pages of a good book.
