Caron Kipping

Experience

Caron is a divorce coach and domestic abuse specialist, having worked in the sector for over 16 years to support men and women in abusive relationships. 

Prior to this, Caron worked in the NHS for over 20 years and worked as a trainer on domestic abuse, health IDVA, Women’s Safety Worker and as a MARAC Officer. 

She is also an IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advocate), qualified by Safe Lives Organisation, a Master Practitioner Divorce Coach (accredited by the International Divorce Coaching Centre of Excellence) and has completed numerous CPD training courses in all aspects of domestic abuse.

Caron is also a published author of her book: Recognition to Recovery: How to leave your abusive ex behind for good.

Expertise

Caron specialises in supporting clients in controlling relationships or separated from abusive partners, including coercive control, emotional abuse, financial abuse, conflict over child contact and post-separation abuse. 

Having personal experience of a coercive relationship, Caron combines her professional experience with practical tips and strategies to help clients regain control, feel less stressed, and understand how to reduce the impact of the abuse. 

She offers a range of support, including ad hoc sessions or regular sessions, a peer support group and ‘Insights Programme’ to help people recognise and move on from abusive relationships.

Caron also has a thorough understanding of criminal/civil legal processes, safeguarding, and frequently supports clients in family court and financial proceedings, criminal hearings and child protection proceedings. 

She is uniquely qualified and able to accompany clients in the courtroom alongside their legal team or litigant in person*. Her coaching provides clients with practical strategies, emotional support and guidance at each stage, to ensure they fully understand the hearing and can make informed decisions.  If needed, she is available to support and advocate for clients in child protection meetings.

*This service is available for hearings in London, Surrey, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire Courts.
