Courtney Litwinko-Smith

Training & experience

Courtney studied a Law Degree at Nottingham Trent University, where she also completed the Legal Practice Course with a Masters. She then commenced her training contract and qualified as a solicitor in September 2023. Courtney completed her training contract and first two years post qualification in a full-service law firm, before joining the Stowe Family Law’s Birmingham Team in October 2025.

Specialisms

Courtney advises on a variety of family law issues and can assist in respect of both child arrangements and financial affairs.

Approach

The clients are at the centre of Courtney’s work. Dealing with family law related issues can be extremely challenging for many individuals and Courtney works to guide clients through the legal process to achieve the best possible outcome for them. Courtney prides herself on adopting a constructive approach to resolving disputes. Her approach is empathetic and client-focused, whilst remaining pragmatic.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family.
