Training and experience

Courtney completed her training contract with Tayntons Solicitors, which included a 9 month seat in the private family department. She qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022.

Courtney began working in Stowe Family Laws Cheltenham office in May 2023.

Specialisms

Courtney enjoys all aspects of Family Law, from financial settlements to child arrangements and knows that family law is never the same from one day to the next. She thrives on helping people through what is often the most difficult time in their lives, by maintaining a calm and forward focussed attitude. She gains satisfaction in assisting clients to secure access to their children, where it has been unreasonably withheld. She also takes pleasure from obtaining fair financial settlement for clients that have been subject to unfair financial treatment during marriage.

Approach

Courtney has a  friendly, open and understanding approach with clients and communicates in a straightforward manner. She encourages amicability but if this cannot be maintained, she will boldly guard and advocate her clients position to obtain the best outcome possible.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, her nieces and nephews in particular. Although she is serious about her career, she has established a reputation of being the fun auntie. Courtney also likes to keep healthy and frequently finds new walking trails in the gorgeous countryside of Gloucestershire. She has been a keen traveller and loves to spend time off exploring a foreign country.
