Deborah Hatton

Training & experience

Deborah has specialised in family law for 30 years, working primarily in Kent but representing clients from many areas and backgrounds. She established Hatton Law, a bespoke family law practice, in 2008, growing the firm for many years and later joining Stowe family law in 2025.

Specialisms

Deborah specialises in financial cases, including those with complicated assets and issues such as business interests and family/external contributions.

Approach

Deborah enjoys supporting clients at what can be a difficult time, and applying personal and pragmatic thinking to each individual’s particular situation.

Accreditations and memberships

Resolution Member. Elected member of the Special Purposes Committee of Kent Law Society.

Outside of work

Singing with a community choir and cooking/hosting family and friends.
