Ewan Paton

Training and experience 

Ewan completed the LLM Masters degree and LPC at Northumbria University from 2015 to 2019. He commenced his training contract in March 2022 and qualified in August 2023, achieving early qualification through the time to count initiative. Throughout his training contract, Ewan specialised in the family law department.

With over 3 years of experience, he has provided counsel on various aspects of family law, including financial matters, children’s issues, and non-molestation proceedings.

Ewan joined Stowe’s Nottingham office in March 2024.

Accreditation’s, memberships and awards

Ewan was honoured as the recipient of the 2018 Irwin Mitchell International Pro Bono Scholarship. This prestigious award granted him the opportunity to spend four weeks participating in the acclaimed Civil Rights and Restorative Project at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, USA.

Outside of work

During his leisure time, Ewan enjoys staying active by hitting the gym and playing racket sports, particularly tennis and paddle. He values spending quality time socialising with friends and family on the weekends. As a passionate fan, Ewan avidly follows Liverpool Football Club.
