Faye Bentley

Training and experience

Faye studied Law and Accountancy for her undergraduate degree at Huddersfield University. She undertook her LPC at Nottingham Law School while concurrently working at a High Street law firm, specializing in the family law department. Faye also completed her training contract, which had a significant focus on Family Law.

Following her qualification, Faye joined a boutique family law firm, where she gained valuable experience over several years. Subsequently, she transitioned to a large regional firm with a Tier 1 rated family law department, earning recognition as a “key lawyer” by the Legal 500.

Faye joined Stowe’s Altrincham office in January 2024.

Specialisms 

Faye possesses extensive experience in handling various facets of divorce and financial remedy proceedings. Her expertise extends to matters involving children, cohabitee disputes, domestic abuse, cohabitation agreements, and pre-nuptial agreements.

Her primary goal is to support clients throughout the legal process, working towards achieving the best possible outcomes for them. Faye’s advice is pragmatic, tailored to the specifics of each case. Faye strives for a non-confrontational resolution in legal matters but is well-versed in navigating court proceedings with a balanced and practical approach, combining robust advocacy with a focus on achieving practical outcomes.

Outside of work

Outside work, Faye relishes travel and immersing herself in different cultures. She embarked on a solo round-the-world trip before family responsibilities. Cooking for loved ones and experimenting with new recipes bring her joy.

Faye is passionate about sports, enjoying both playing and spectating. She is currently working on getting back into the gym and playing netball, while also embracing challenges like half marathons and the 3 Peaks Challenge.
