Gill is a Legal Assistant based at our Harrogate family solicitors office working with lawyers in the Yorkshire region

Day to day role

Gill works closely with lawyers in the Yorkshire region to attain a seamless interaction with clients and to maintain accurate records and documentation. Daily tasks include diary management, liaising with external legal professionals, supporting clients and ensuring data quality is of the highest standard.

Career History/Experience

Gill’s early career was mostly in the role of medical secretary in a clinical environment in two teaching hospitals in Leeds, providing secretarial support to doctors and clinicians. She then spent 20 years working within a clinical research environment, primarily involved in managing the recruitment of volunteers for clinical trials. Gill has spent the last 14 years working at Stowe Family Law.

Outside of work

At home Gill loves baking, being creative in the kitchen and catering for family gatherings. Her grandchildren keep her young and camping is still a passion – she has enjoyed holidaying on the south coast for 35 years. Most weekends in the summer are spent at Kielder Yacht Club on their yacht, Little B, which keeps her fit. She enjoys playing the piano (very badly) and listening to classical music.
