Hayley McConville

Training & experience

I qualified as a solicitor in 2011 after obtaining a Law degree with honours and completing the Legal Practice Course at Chester’s College of Law. I have a civil law background, which assists me when dealing with more confrontational cases, and my family experience consists of dealing with private children matters, divorce and dissolution proceedings, financial relief matters as well as cohabitation disputes and injunctions.

Specialisms

I enjoy working on complex financial remedy cases as well as children cases.

Approach

I’m committed to helping my client’s and families, through extremely difficult times, sometimes at the hardest point in their life. I am empathetic and sensitive to my client’s needs, whilst offering sensible, pragmatic advice. I will go above and beyond to listen to my clients, so that I can provide them the best and most realistic advice whilst supporting them.

Accreditations

I am a member of Resolution which is a UK organisation for family lawyers who promote a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law.

Outside of work

My three children keep me extremely busy! As well as spending time with my  family and friends, when I have a spare moment I enjoy swimming, attempting to keep fit, holidaying, reading and curling up on the sofa to watch a good film.  I’m a Squirrel Scout Leader and an active member of my children’s school PTFA.
