Katie Kilburn is a senior solicitor based in our Wetherby office. She has experience of dealing with various aspects of family law but has focused predominantly on resolving disputes relating to children, divorce and the division of matrimonial finances and has experience of cases involving domestic violence.
Katie was awarded a BA Honours Degree in History at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne before deciding to pursue a career in law. Having completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Vocational Course, Katie was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008. Since that time Katie has dedicated her practice to family law and qualified as a solicitor in April 2011.
Katie is a personable and empathetic solicitor who promotes a constructive approach to the sensitive issues associated with the breakdown of relationships.
Whilst the majority of Katie’s cases are based in the family court in England and Wales she has advised clients in jurisdictions including France, Germany, Ireland and Poland.
In her spare time, Katie is an avid traveller and enjoys playing for her local netball team in the Bentham Park League, Leeds.
