Lauren is a Legal Assistant based in Stowe’s London office.
Lauren is primarily engaged in assisting the lawyers with a variety of tasks on divorce, finances and alternative dispute resolutions. She maintains regular contact with clients ensuring they are fully informed of the progression of their cases.
Lauren joined Stowe’s St Albans office in September 2023.
Lauren completed her law degree at the University of Sheffield and subsequently obtained the LPC LLM qualification from the University of Law. She took part in the Miscarriages of Justice Review Centre throughout her undergraduate degree, of which she was elected student manager in her final year.
Lauren studied elective modules in Family Law during her LLB and LPC, which included undertaking research on surrogacy reform and lasting powers of attorney reform as well as drafting consent orders. As a result of her pro bono volunteering, she has gained a particular interest in cases concerning domestic violence.
Lauren also volunteered for the Wills, Trust and Estate Disputes Advice Line and therefore has experience handling sensitive matters with empathy and understanding.
Lauren enjoys watching West End theatre and reading Harry Potter innumerable times.
