Specialisms
Lorraine is a highly experienced lawyer having worked in the legal profession for 26 years and having specialised in family law for 21 years. She is able to advise on all aspects of family law including divorce, separation and financial and property matters. She is also able to advise on issues relating to children including abduction; children in care and grandparent’s rights. She also has extensive experience of seeking Court orders to protect clients and their children from domestic abuse.
Lorraine is a member of Resolution and has recently completed Part 1 of Resolution’s Family Law Accreditation scheme.
Approach
Lorraine understands just how daunting it may be for a client to make the first contact with a lawyer. With this in mind and having been through a divorce herself, Lorraine is sympathetic, supportive and approachable with a view to providing a clear and constructive way forward which is tailored to the client. Once instructed, Lorraine takes a determined and proactive approach to achieve the best outcome for the client whether this is negotiating a settlement out of Court or representing the client within Court proceedings.
Training & Employment Experience
Lorraine qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2006 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives in 2008. She has worked in the legal profession for 26 years.
Outside of work
Outside of work Lorraine enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with family and friends. She loves music of all genres and also enjoys live music events.
