Megan is an approachable and dedicated family lawyer who understands the difference that the right support can make to her clients and their outcomes.
Megan is a member of Resolution Family Law and has experience working within a wide range of matters concerning divorce, financial proceedings (in and out of Court), children matters (in and out of Court) and cohabitation disputes.
Megan also has experience with domestic violence matters and issuing proceedings in respect of Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
Instructing a family solicitor is usually as a result of a relationship breakdown. Megan is understanding that this is an extremely emotional time for all those involved and is determined to ensure that clients are fully understanding of the legal process as well as the potential consequences/risks of their actions.
Megan is realistic and provides clients with clear and pragmatic advice to allow them to make informed decisions based on their situation and individual needs. Megan takes a cost centred approach and aims to resolve matters in the most efficient way.
Megan studied at the University of Liverpool and obtained a 2:1 qualification. She then went on to complete her LPC and LLM at BPP University and was employed as a Paralegal at a city-based firm. She then began her Training Contract in March 2020 at a local Wigan firm, in which she qualified as a Solicitor on 01 September 2021. Since starting her employment, Megan has over 4 years’ experience in Family Law dealing with both Legal Aid and private matters. Megan is now a Solicitor at Stowe Family Law’s Liverpool office. She also supports the Manchester and Chester offices.
Outside of work Megan enjoys keeping active by attending the gym regularly and is a keen walker. She loves spending time in the Lake District and taking in the picturesque views. In the warmer seasons, she loves to climb mountains and would like to tackle the three-peak challenge.
She also loves to read, spend time with friends and loved ones, including her two rabbits, Reggie and Rosie.
