Nicola strives for amicable dispute resolution where possible, whilst prioritising the welfare of clients by adopting a holistic and focused approach.
Nicola has practised family law for the last 5 years and is experienced in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce & finances and cohabitation matters, with a particular interest in private child law.
Nicola is a member of Resolution and is committed to following their Code of Practice and seeking to resolve disputes in the most amicable way possible, with emphasis on promoting the welfare of children involved.
Nicola also is experienced in Mental Health Law, working with vulnerable clients and protecting the liberties of those detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.
Nicola takes time to listen carefully to her clients, to build trust from the very first meeting and to ensure that the most constructive advice can be given. Nicola seeks, where possible, to assist her clients in reaching an amicable agreement out of court, but is well versed in guiding her clients through court proceedings when required. Nicola strives to provide a high standard of client service, whilst ensuring that this remains cost-effective.
Nicola completed her law degree at the University of Portsmouth and qualified as a solicitor in 2018. Nicola spent over 5 years at a high street law firm where she trained and qualified, specialising throughout this time in family law.
Nicola is now an Associate at Stowe Family Laws’ Esher, Guildford & Brighton offices.
Outside of work, Nicola enjoys travelling, baking and socialising with friends and family.
