Orla has a background in all areas of family law, with a focus on Children Act 1989 cases.
Orla studied at Northumbria University, graduating with her Masters in Law and completing the Legal Practice Course.
Orla has previously volunteered with The Angelou Centre and the Newcastle Citizen’s Advice Bureau providing family law advice.
Orla began as a family law paralegal before completing her 2 year training contract at Beecham Peacock Solicitors where she practiced both public and private family law.
She qualified as a solicitor in June 2023 before joining Stowe Family Law’s Newcastle team in October 2023.
Orla has a background in all areas of family law, with a focus on Children Act 1989 cases. She also has a variety of experience in child arrangements, divorce and finances, domestic abuse and pre-nuptial agreements.
Orla builds a strong rapport with her clients in her well measured approach, achieving the best possible outcome for each individual client. Orla is particularly keen to ensure her clients’ cases are handled with care to keep any animosity between parties at a minimum.
Orla is a member of Women Lawyers Division North East.
Orla enjoys visiting family back home in Belfast and loves to ski. In her spare time, Orla attends local food festivals and making her way through a good book. Orla is a Liverpool FC fan much to her Geordie boyfriend’s dismay.
