Rebecca is a Trainee Solicitor based in Stowe’s Leeds office.

Training & experience

Rebecca moved to West Yorkshire from Chester in 2017 where she attended the University of Huddersfield, obtaining both her LLB and LPC. After graduating, Rebecca worked as a Legal assistant for 10 months before securing a Training Contract in October 2022.

Rebecca completed the first 11 Months of her training contract at a Legal Aid Family Law Specialist firm in West Yorkshire, before moving to Stowe’s Leeds office in September 2023.

Her previous case load was focused primarily on Domestic Abuse cases and Children Act applications. Rebecca ran her own case load and has experience both at Court and in the office, dealing with clients from initial instruction to final hearing.

Specialisms

Rebecca has a strong interest into Children Act Proceedings and helping parents in difficult times, helping them remain focused during a sometimes long process. She is keen to explore alternative areas of law, such as Divorce and Financial disputes, whilst working on more complex Children Act and Domestic Abuse cases.

Approach

Rebecca has experience working with a variety of people who need the assistance of a family law solicitor, and is able to tailor my approach to suit the client’s needs. She is approachable, and empathetic but firm.

Rebecca’s communication skills allow her to ensure the client feels comfortable to discuss their case, whilst also being able to advise as to next steps and give practical advice.

Outside of work

Rebecca enjoys cooking, socializing, travelling and running.

Rebecca is currently training for the Manchester Marathon in April 2024 in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.
