She has advised and represented clients in the process of divorce, clients who have not been married and those who have entered into civil partnerships.
Sarah’s experience includes cases involving substantial income and capital, both in this country and abroad, as well as a variety of financial, business, and trust structures.
Sarah also advises on child law matters, international relocation of children cases, cohabitation disputes, as well as prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.
Training & employment experience
Sarah was educated at The Mount School in York and the University of Glasgow, where she studied History of Art and achieved a MA 2:1 Honours. After working in antiquarian books, she did her LLB at the College of Law in York before joining Stowe Family Law LLP as a paralegal.
Sarah is now Managing Partner at Stowe Family Law Leeds and Ilkley offices.

My expertise in advising on complex financial remedies and private children law is recognised by Resolution’s specialist accreditation scheme.
Approach
Sarah will always prioritise a client’s interests and objectives first and foremost. She takes a practical, no-nonsense approach to cases while still being empathetic to the client in their time of need.
Outside of work
Sarah spends her time at the coast, learning to cook and saving for a Triumph Spitfire.
