Suzanne is a Solicitor based in Stowe’s Birmingham office.
Suzanne embarked on her career in London, joining an American investment bank, where she specialised in fixed income derivatives, with a focus on interest rate derivatives. She managed a client base in Europe and the Middle East, achieving the position of Vice President. Later, Suzanne transitioned to Geneva, Switzerland, assuming the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Manager.
After six years in the financial markets, Suzanne made a career shift to law. She worked as a legal assistant for two years at a boutique family law firm in Worcestershire. In September 2018, Suzanne returned to university to pursue the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, completing both with Distinction and securing the highest marks for the Legal Practice Course.
Following the completion of her training contract at a large national law firm in September 2022, Suzanne qualified as a family solicitor with the firm. In December 2022, she transitioned to a Tier 1 regional firm, where she primarily handled highly contentious and complex high net worth financial remedy cases, often involving elements of domestic abuse.
Beyond her legal qualifications, Suzanne holds a first-class undergraduate degree in Management Studies with French from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s degree in Gender from the London School of Economics.
Suzanne joined Stowe’s Birmingham office in February 2024.
In her role, Suzanne engages in various aspects of Family Law. Her primary focus lies in financial remedy cases, and she particularly enjoys those that involve a certain level of complexity.
