Vicki undertakes a wide variety of family law matters including both relationship planning and relationship separation work. Her relationship planning work focuses on: Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Cohabitation Agreements, and Parenting Plans. Her relationship separation work concentrates on all aspects of marriage, civil partnership and relationship breakdown including: divorce, dissolution, Separation Agreements, financial settlements, child arrangements and domestic abuse protection. Vicki can also prepare Change of Name deeds and Statutory Declarations.
Vicki is a member of Resolution and a Resolution accredited specialist in Private Child Law and Domestic Abuse. She is also a trained Resolution mediator.
Vicki adopts a practical approach to her client’s situations, adopting a caring and advisory role to ensure each client understands their options and is able to make informed decisions at likely one of the most difficult periods of their lives. Vicki will consider alternative dispute resolution options alongside court procedures and look at short, mid and long term advantages and disadvantages of all relevant factors to advise accordingly using her vast experience of such matters. Vicki works with her client’s individual needs and priorities in a cost considerate manner to achieve the best possible outcome for them and where appropriate, their wider family.
Training & Employment
Vicki studied for her law degree and then her Masters in law degree in Southampton before undertaking her Legal Practice Course in Bournemouth. She has practised law on the South Coast specialising in family law since 2004 and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. Vicki has since gone on to obtain her specialist accreditations and additional qualifications whilst working at a regional and then a national firm before joining Stowe Family Law. Vicki joined Stowe Family Law’s Winchester office as a Partner Solicitor in 2021.
Outside of Work
Outside of work Vicki is a keen live entertainment fan and enjoys regularly attending live music gigs, theatre performances and comedy stand up shows. She is also interested in British history and regularly uses her memberships to both the National Trust and English Heritage.
