Zuzanna Pogorzelska

Training and experience

Zuzanna has read law at University of Buckingham and achieved an LLM in European and International Business Law from Universite Jean Moulin, Lyon, France.

Zuzanna joined Stowe’s St Albans office in January 2024.

Specialisms 

Zuzanna focuses on complex financial settlements, often acting for high net worth clients where complex structures and foreign assets are involved. Zuzanna organises clinics relating to finances on divorce for British expats living in theUnited Arab Emirates whenever she visits her family in Dubai.

Zuzanna also specialises in private law children matters, including prohibited steps orders, specific issue orders and cross-jurisdictional children matters. She is often involved with vulnerable clients who are victims of domestic abuseand offers assistance with obtaining non-molestation and occupation orders.

Zuzanna also advises on wealth protection agreements, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements.

Approach

As a member of Resolution, Zuzanna is a great believer in amicable resolution outside of court where possible. However she is equally experienced in assisting her clients in court proceedings and provides excellent service and support throughout.

Zuzanna brings a pragmatic approach to her cases and prides herself on ensuring the best possible outcome for her clients in the most cost-effective manner. Zuzanna is known for being straight-talking and open with her clients.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Zuzanna enjoys showjumping with her horse and taking long walks with her two dogs. She also loves to travel all over the world and is a keen supporter of the Ferrari Formula 1 team.
