Stowe Family Law (Stowe) is pleased to announce that Team Leader Partner Gemma Davison is a member of the newly formed Collaborative Law pod in Oxford, set up specifically to relaunch collaborative family law as a key method of non-court dispute resolution (NCDR) in the region.
Collaborative family law involves round-table negotiations between divorcing or separating partners and can be used for any obstacles couples are facing in the process of divorce including financial settlements and child arrangements. Parties have individual collaborative lawyers appointed who attend the meetings and can draw on professional advice from experts such as financial advisers, accountants, even divorce coaches.

The pod has been registered with Resolution, a community of family law professionals committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive fashion, focusing on NCDR methods and ensuring families going through breakdown can have a positive future.
The pod is building networks with local therapists and mediators who can support the work of collaborative family law.
Stowe has several trained collaborative lawyers who can support client journeys through negotiations and help them reach a fair agreement in a constructive manner.
