Abigail joined Stowe Family Law in 2022.
Abigail obtained a first-class honours degree in English Language. Her English Language degree has enabled her to communicate with accuracy and clarity.
Following her degree, Abigail worked at a local law firm for over five years as a Paralegal. Initially, she provided essential support to the solicitors within the department but she very quickly progressed to managing her own caseload. Her cases included divorce and finances, domestic abuse and children proceedings. Abigail joined Stowe Family Law’s Southampton team as a Legal Assistant in 2022. She was promoted to a Paralegal in November 2022.
Abigail specialises in obtaining protective orders against domestic abuse perpetrators. Abigail is skilled at, and has a particular interest in, children proceedings relating to residence and contact. Abigail is often praised for her meticulous methods in divorce and financial matters.
The work that Abigail undertakes requires her to have a strong knowledge and understanding of current law and procedures.
She is a member of Resolution, and is therefore committed to resolving family disputes in a constructive manner. She provides vital legal support to parents when they need it most, whilst maintaining a child-focused approach.
Abigail has experience in assisting vulnerable clients, including those who are experiencing mental health and substance misuse issues.
Abigail received a prestigious Chancellor’s Award at university.
Abigail is a member of CILEX and is training to become a lawyer.
Abigail loves good food and is always at hand to provide restaurant recommendations.
