Aimee is an Associate based out of our Chelmsford office and other locations across the East of England. She specialises in private children and financial remedy proceedings, with a history of dealing with complex high net worth cases.
I was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in June 2022 and have also undergone further training to become a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate, gaining individual litigation rights and rights of audience. I have been practising Family Law since 2017 – initially with the Local Authority specialising in complex public law proceedings, including cases involving serious non-accidental injuries.
As of 2018, my areas of practice expanded significantly to include private law children proceedings, domestic abuse and divorce and financial remedy.
I have developed particular expertise in private children and financial remedy proceedings, attaining specialist accreditation in those areas. I have taken particular interest in representing clients in private children proceedings which involve (often very serious) allegations of domestic abuse. I have particular experience and skill in preparing matters for fact-finding hearings and contested final hearings.
I have also had involvement with HNW financial remedy matters and regularly deal with complex issues in financial remedy matters.
I am a member of, and accredited by Resolution. I am therefore committed to resolving matters via non-court dispute resolution where possible. My clients have described me as ‘very professional and knowledgeable and a great communicator’ and have noted that my ‘extraordinary commitment and legal prowess have truly set her apart as exceptional’.
Resolution accreditation in private children and complex lower income financial remedies. I am also a member of Resolution and co-chair of the Essex YRes committee.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trips abroad and reading.
