Amy is a Partner at Stowe Family Law, specialising in complex divorce and financial matters arising upon marriage. Amy also represents parents in disputes regarding child arrangement orders to include a number of cases involving internal relocation and parental alienation. Amy deals with cases of domestic abuse and works closely with a number of domestic abuse charities.
Amy has a non-confrontational approach to resolving family problems. She is able to help clients understand and manage the potential long-term financial and emotional consequences of decisions and strives to negotiate settlements in a cost effective way. Amy is empathetic and offers practical and realistic advice.
Amy initially qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in family law in 2011. Amy then studied at De Montford University in Leicester and obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law before completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol; where she qualified as a Solicitor in 2016. Amy also obtained a Masters in Law.
Amy has over 10 years experience in family law and has previously practised in the areas of Somerset and Devon.
Amy joined Stowe Family Law’s Bristol family solicitors office as a Senior Associate in 2021 and was promoted to Partner in 2022. She also works with the teams in Bath, Cardiff & Cheltenham.
Outside of work Amy enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures.
