Anna Stinton

Training & experience

Anna studied law at the University of Reading and completed her LPC at the University of Law. She qualified as a solicitor in 2017 at a respected specialist firm in North London. There, she gained broad experience across complex family law matters before joining Stowe Family Law’s London team in January 2026.

Specialisms

Anna undertakes work in all areas of family law, including divorce and separation, financial settlements, and children matters. She has extensive experience in handling complex, high-conflict children disputes, including those involving international elements, difficult safeguarding issues, and intricate factual disputes. She is also experienced in representing children directly within court proceedings. Anna advises clients on modern family structures, including surrogacy arrangements, adoption, LGBTQ+ family matters, and alternative parenting arrangements.

Anna is known for her calm, empathetic approach and her ability to guide clients through emotionally charged situations with clear, practical advice. She combines compassion with a strategic mindset, and is committed to protecting her clients’ long-term interests while minimising unnecessary conflict wherever possible.

Accreditations 

Anna is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, reflecting her recognised expertise in children law, and enabling her to represent children directly in court proceedings. Anna has been recognised by the Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer on a number of occasions. Anna achieved a Distinction in the Law Society’s Family Law Microcredential in 2025.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Anna enjoys running to unwind, as well as crocheting while watching a good television series. She also enjoys travelling and discovering new places.
