Annabella is a solicitor based out of our Newcastle office and other locations across the North East and Yorkshire. She specialises in divorce, child law and domestic abuse cases.
I studied at Northumbria University and graduated with a First Class Law Degree, incorporating a Masters and the Legal Practice Course in 2018.
I began my legal career as a family law paralegal at Ben Hoare Bell LLP in 2018. I then went on to complete my training contract at the firm and qualified as a solicitor in March 2022.
Thereafter, I practiced as a solicitor at the firm for over four years. I advised on all aspects of family law, including both private law proceedings and public law proceedings. I regularly attended and engaged with a local independent domestic abuse charity to provide survivors of domestic abuse with legal advice.
I joined Stowe’s Newcastle Team in September 2026.
I am experienced in all aspects of family law, and take my time to appreciate each and every case. Each is unique, with their own set of facts, circumstances, and possible resolutions.
However, I have a particular interest and specialism in children law and domestic abuse cases.
I pride myself in ensuring I build a strong rapport with my clients, allowing them to feel confident and comfortable in my approach to their case and the legal system in general.
I understand that dealing with family law matters can feel overwhelming and daunting at times. That is why at the outset I take my time to talk through these worries with my clients. This allows me to understand what is most important to them, for their family and for the future.
I make clients aware of any potential hurdles I can identify at the very start. This ensures they are prepared and can take practical steps at an early stage to move matters forward.
I strongly believe in dealing with clients cases in a non-confrontational way to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
I am a member of Resolution and a committee member of North East Yres.
I am accredited by Resolution as a specialist in Private Law Children and Domestic Abuse.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and socialising with my friends.
I enjoy partaking in local events, food festivals, music festivals, concerts and going on walks on the beach or in the countryside.
During my previous employment, I regularly arranged and organised charity collections for local foodbanks, and hosted MacMillan Coffee Morning Bake Offs. I intend to carry this on at Stowe as I love being involved in supporting my local community, and eating the odd slice of cake.
I have taken part in the Great North Run and raised money for Marie Curie Cancer.
