Barbara is an Associate based in our London office.
Training & experience
Barbara studied Sociology at the University of Southampton and graduated with a 2:1. Barbara went on to complete the GDL and achieved a commendation on the LPC, both at BPP University, London.
Before practicing in Family Law, Barbara worked in a specialist investment firm and then in Government. She has worked in Family law since November 2018, and qualified in March 2021.
Barbara joined Stowe’s London office in October 2023.
Specialisms
Barbara assists clients in all areas of family law, including child arrangements, division of finances, protective orders, and cohabitation disputes.
Approach
Barbara takes a measured approach to resolving cases, and always prioritises her clients’ objectives. She provides robust and honest advice to help clients to achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their families.
Barbara advocates for out of court resolutions whenever feasible, but where litigation becomes necessary, she aims to support clients in a strategic and cost-effective way by making tactically sound decisions.
Accreditations, memberships & awards
Barbara is a member of Resolution, and is also on the Resolution Training & Learning Committee.
She also volunteers at the Walworth Rd Police Station as an Appropriate Adult representing the welfare of children and vulnerable adults in custody.
Outside of work
Barbara loves taking her puppy on long walks, cooking, and reading.
