Experience
Becky is a qualified psychotherapist and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. As an experienced counsellor and family consultant, she has significant experience supporting families to navigate the turmoil and uncertainty that family breakdown can bring.
She set up Becky Hanson Counselling and Divorce Coaching, having recognised the need for therapeutic input geared towards protecting and promoting emotional well-being together with balancing the practical needs of individuals and their families, navigating the challenging and uncertain landscape of separation and divorce.
Specialisms
Becky supports individuals and families experiencing all aspects of separation and divorce, and has a specialist interest in promoting positive outcomes for children and families.
Approach
Becky’s approach is unique, combining empathetic and compassionate therapeutic counselling styles with divorce and separation specific coaching strategies. Trained by The Parenting Apart Programme, she understands the challenges faced by families. She is passionate about providing her clients with a safe, non judgemental space to explore and share the matters that mean the most to them.
Bordering Worcestershire and the West Midlands, Becky works in person in her therapy room and online via various platforms.
Among the unfolding turmoil and uncertainty that Separation and Divorce can bring, they are also catalysts for change. Becky is committed to helping you navigate these changes safely and positively.
