Charlotte joined Stowe Family Law’s St Albans office as a Solicitor in 2021.

Specialisms

Charlotte assists clients with all aspects of Family Law including children matters, divorce and separation, financial remedy and cohabitee disputes.

Approach

Charlotte understands that breakdowns in relationships and in family units can be an extremely emotional time and therefore adapts a compassionate, caring and pragmatic approach in order to assist in achieving the best possible outcome to suit each individual needs. She strives to revolve matters in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Training & Employment

Charlotte studied her law degree at Bournemouth University and completed her LPC in 2019. She qualified as a Family Solicitor in October 2021 and has joined the Stowe Family Law team in St Albans. Charlotte was promoted to Associate in November 2024.

Outside of Work

Outside of work Charlotte enjoys playing netball, where she is a part of her local team. She also enjoys eating out and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys relaxing at a weekend and getting stuck into a good box set.

Charlotte Brown and the team at Stowe Family Law have been brilliant since day 1. When I came to them I had been contemplating self representation due to costs, but allowing them to help has been worth every penny. When I instructed Charlotte I was depleted and terrified, dealing with a very difficult ex partner and on my own in the UK with no family support. Charlotte was calm and patient throughout every hurdle and was a listening ear many times. I felt very much shielded from conflict as well as far as possible which I am extremely grateful for. Stowe also have an excellent range of barristers and the ones we used were extremely professional, excellent negotiators and worked to help find logical solutions that would get us closer to the last step. Charlotte alongside the barristers were especially good at also helping me see the bigger picture rather than just telling me what I wanted to hear which in turn has led to a very positive outcome. I still have the last order to get to but we're pretty much there and the solution is the best one for my daughter which was the main focus every step of the way.
