Diane has worked on most aspects of family law, particularly finding child care proceedings, child issues and domestic violence cases most rewarding.

Diane is known for her experience, knowledge, empathy and calmness.

Training and experience

Diane has over 30 years experience, originally starting as a receptionist at a solicitors when leaving school and working on most aspects of the legal profession over the years. Family law is where she feels most “at home” having had a career break for around 7 years, joining the police to become a Police Community Support Officer, which she loved but the pull of being in a nice warm office was too much and Diane came back to family law.

Outside of work

Spending quality time with family and going on holidays,  having recently plucked up the courage to travel abroad for solo holidays. Diane also enjoys the theatre, concerts, reading, knitting and, in particular, cake decorating, having made a number of wedding and elaborate birthday cakes.
