Emma Johnson

Training and experience

Emma graduated from Northumbria University in 2019 with an MLaw (Exempting) degree incorporating the Legal Practice Course (LPC). She gained experience in various areas of law before settling as a Paralegal and subsequently completing her Training Contract and qualifying in April 2026 at David Gray Solicitors, where she focused heavily on family law and gained experience in both private and public law matters. Emma joined Stowe in August 2026 following qualification and a period of extended travel.

Approach

Emma understands that family law matters can be both complex and emotionally challenging. She strive to provide clear, structured and concise advice to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions about their personal circumstances, whilst maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.

Outside of work

Emma enjoys keeping active, particularly through running, and spending time with friends and family. She has a passion for travelling and discovering new places and cultures, and enjoys making the most of her free time at live music gigs, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants and spending time at the coast.
