Gemma joined Stowe Family Law’s St Albans family solicitors office in January 2021.

Specialisms

Gemma assists clients with all aspects of Family Law including children matters, divorce and separation, financial remedy and cohabitee disputes.
Gemma is particularly committed to helping to resolve family disputes regarding children, including living and contact arrangements.

Approach

Gemma recognised that relationship breakdowns can be an extremely emotional time and she offers clients clear and pragmatic advice to assist them to make informed decisions based on their individual needs. She takes a client-centred approach and strives to resolve matters in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

As a member of Resolution, Gemma is committed to a constructive and collaborative approach to resolving disputes.

Training & employment

Gemma studied the LPC and GDL at BBP Law School, in 2015, attaining distinctions in both and winning the Hertfordshire Law Society award for academic achievement. She first began working in Family Law in 2015 as a Paralegal before qualifying as a Family Solicitor in March 2020.

Outside of work

Outside of work Gemma loves to travel and enjoys running, baking and spending time with her young family. She also volunteers with a charity offering pro bono work to families in need.
