Hollie Murray

Training and experience 

Hollie studied Law at Newcastle University, graduating with a first class honours.

Hollie qualified as a solicitor in 2017. During her training contract, she had experience of both private and public law proceedings but has worked exclusively within private proceedings since qualification.

Hollie joined Stowe Family Laws’ Newcastle team as an Associate in September 2022, having previously been at a top 100 law firm. She also supports the North Shields team.

Specialisms 

Hollie has experience of all aspects of family law including divorce and financial matters, cohabitation, children, domestic abuse, enforcement and pre and post nuptial agreements.

Hollie has been ranked as an Associate to Watch in Chambers and Partners and a Leading Associate in Legal 500, describe by the latter as ‘fantastic’. She is a member of Resolution as well as being on the YRes committee. She was previously Chair of the Newcastle Young Professionals Forum.

Outside of work 

Hollie is part of Newcastle’s Voice of the Town Choir. She is also a Trustee for the Phoenix Detached Youth Project, a charity assisting young people in North Tyneside, and spends a lot of her spare time training for the following years Great North Run.
