Laura Jones

Training and experience

Laura graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2016. Before undertaking her Legal Practice Course in 2019, Laura gained experience whilst working at both regional and national firms.

Laura commenced her training contract with a Legal 500 ranked firm in 2020, qualified as a solicitor in September 2022 and joined Stowe in November 2024.

Specialisms

Laura specialises in all areas of private family law matters including divorce, financial proceedings and Children Act matters.

Approach

Laura adopts a compassionate yet realistic approach when advising clients. She believes it is important to be empathetic and approachable whilst also providing clear, jargon free advice to clients to support them in achieving the best possible outcome.

Laura is a member of Resolution.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing netball and cooking/baking.
