Lauren Ashforth

Training & employment

Lauren completed her law degree at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2018 with a 2:1. She then worked as a family paralegal at a nationwide firm for 2 years whilst completing her Legal Practice Course, which she finished with a Distinction. She qualified as a solicitor in April 2022 after spending the majority of her training contract working in family law.

Lauren joined Stowe Family Law’s Exeter team in September 2022.

Specialisms

Lauren specialises in all areas of family law, such as divorce and matrimonial finance and private children matters.

Approach

Lauren aims to provide sensible and practical advice to her clients. She approaches all situations with empathy and aims to reach an early resolution wherever possible.

Outside of work

Lauren enjoys reading, going to the gym and spending her spare time with family and friends.
