Training and experience

Lucy obtained a First Class Honors LLB in Law from Northumbria University. She also completed the Legal Practice Course and Law Masters at the University of Law, achieving a distinction in both. Lucy qualified in 2026 and subsequently joined Stowe.

Specialisms

Lucy enjoys a varied family law caseload, including private children matters, matrimonial finance (including nuptial agreements), and divorce. She recognises that these areas often intersect and require a holistic approach.

Lucy adopts a highly responsive and client-focused approach, combining clear, pragmatic advice with empathy, understanding, and strong communication. She recognises that not every case follows a precedented path and is experienced in navigating unforeseen circumstances with practical, solution-focused strategies. Lucy works in a manner that encourages amicability wherever possible, understanding that minimising conflict often leads to better, faster, and more cost-effective results.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys keeping active, travelling, and exploring her interest in history. She also enjoys spending time with her family and their three dogs in Northern Ireland.
