Lydia Owen

Training and employment 

Lydia qualified as a solicitor in September 2022, after starting her training contract in 2020. She had previously worked as a paralegal for 2 years, specialising in family for her last year.

Lydia joined Stowe’s Birmingham office in July 2023.

Specialisms

Lydia works on both children matters and financial matters. She particularly enjoys dealing with financial matters, whether that be by way of agreement, voluntary disclosure or court proceedings.

Approach 

Lydia believes it is important to have an empathetic yet realistic approach. Client’s are experiencing a breakdown within their family unit, and need to be treated with compassion. However, client’s will benefit from a realistic approach, hopefully leading to swift conclusion of the matter.

Outside of work 

Outside of work, Lydia loves attending shows, both theatre and concerts. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.
