Paola Cuffolo

Training and experience

Paola graduated from the University of Oxford in 2010 with a degree in Music. She spent several subsequent years in the world of opera, both as singer and director, before deciding to use her transferable skills to shift into the law. She completed the GDL and LPC at BPP in London. Paola trained at a regional firm in Oxfordshire, qualifying in 2021, and worked in Family law in a practice in Berkshire until 2026, when she joined Stowe.

Specialisms

Paola specialises in divorce, financial remedy, and nuptial agreements, but is particularly skilled in and passionate about private arrangements for children and domestic abuse cases.

Paola is also bilingual Italian/English, with experience of advising in Italian.

Approach

Paola is a people person, getting a read on clients quickly and being able to adopt an individualistic approach to their needs. She is empathetic and friendly, but will always stand up for her clients when required. Paola is passionate about helping clients through what can be an extremely challenging time with as little anxiety as possible.

Paola is a member of Resolution.

Outside of work

Paola is yet to encounter a genre of music she doesn’t enjoy, and continues to participate in choral and operatic singing wherever she can. She also loves live theatre and comedy, cross-stitch, non-fiction, and time with friends and family.
