Paula Lucena

Training & experience 

Paula is a skilled family law solicitor who advises on all aspects of family law and relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial settlement, non-molestation and occupation orders, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

She takes a thoughtful and practical approach when working with clients to resolve arrangements for children, whether through court proceedings or by agreement, always prioritising the best outcomes for families during difficult times.

Bilingual in Spanish and English, Paula brings valuable expertise to cases with a cross-border element, making her particularly well-placed to assist international clients navigating complex jurisdictional issues.

Paula achieved a first-class degree in LLB Law (Hons) at Greenwich University, where she demonstrated her commitment to family law through extensive volunteering in family courts. Following completion of the LPC in 2020, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Legal and Political Theory at University College London (UCL) with distinction, producing a dissertation on the principles and morality behind prenuptial agreements that was awarded a high distinction.

Having trained exclusively in family law at Stowe, Paula qualified as a solicitor in January 2024.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Paula enjoys being a generalist in Family Law with particular fascination around prenuptial agreements, child arrangements and surrogacy.

In her spare time, Paula enjoys fitness activities, playing tennis and travelling in the UK, Europe and beyond.
