Rachel is a highly experienced family law solicitor with expertise in high finance divorces, children matters, and cohabitation disputes. She is dedicated to resolving complex legal issues with sensitivity, whether through court proceedings or alternative methods such as mediation, collaborative law, or arbitration.

Rachel is committed to alternative dispute resolution and adopts a constructive, compassionate approach to family law. Her extensive experience in mediation equips her with the skills to guide clients through often traumatic situations with a focus on resolving disputes amicably and effectively, both inside and outside of court.

Training and Experience

Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has held senior roles at several leading law firms. She led the family law department at Knights plc in Staffordshire before becoming a partner at Mace & Jones (now Weightmans) in Liverpool. Rachel joined Hawkins Family Law in 2006 and, after a period as a Consultant Solicitor, returned as a full team member in 2019.
