Becca is a Solicitor based in Stowe’s Leeds office.
Training & experience
Becca moved to West Yorkshire from Chester in 2017 where she attended the University of Huddersfield, obtaining both her LLB and LPC. After graduating, Becca worked as a Legal assistant for 10 months before securing a Training Contract in October 2022.
Becca completed the first 11 Months of her training contract at a Legal Aid Family Law Specialist firm in West Yorkshire, before moving to Stowe’s Leeds office in September 2023.
Her previous case load was focused primarily on Domestic Abuse cases and Children Act applications. Becca ran her own case load and has experience both at Court and in the office, dealing with clients from initial instruction to final hearing.
Becca qualified as a solicitor in October 2024.
Specialisms
Becca is a dedicated family solicitor with particular expertise in private children and financial matters. She advises and support clients through a wide range of family issues, including child arrangements, financial settlements following separation, and co-parenting disputes.
While she has experience across all areas of family law, Becca has a strong interest in private children work and is passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for children and families. Becca takes a calm, constructive approach to resolving disputes, always prioritising the needs of clients and their children.
Becca also have a keen interest in advocacy and regularly represent clients in court, offering continuity and reassurance throughout their case. Whether negotiating outside of court or litigating where necessary, Becca is committed to providing clear, strategic advice tailored to each individual situation.
Approach
Becca has experience working with a variety of people who need the assistance of a family law solicitor, and is able to tailor her approach to suit the client’s needs. She is approachable, and empathetic but firm.
Becca’s communication skills allow her to ensure the client feels comfortable to discuss their case, whilst also being able to advise as to next steps and give practical advice.
Outside of work
Becca enjoys painting and all things crafty, from DIY projects to the occasional novelty bake. Becca also loves reading and spending time with family and friends. At home, she’s kept thoroughly entertained by her very opinionated cat, who makes an excellent (if slightly distracting) creative assistant.
